The 9th International Conference on Petroleum Geochemistry in The Africa – Asia Region will be held on 15 – 17 November 2016 in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The conference will feature oral and poster presentations.

Petroleum geochemistry plays important role in hydrocarbon exploration today. The aim of The Association of Afro – Asian Petroleum Geochemists (A3PG) is to develop strong connection between petroleum geochemist experts in Afro-Asia region to share their experience in using geochemistry approach to solve hydrocarbon exploration in the region.

Petroleum geochemists from Afro-Asian countries need to strengthen the cooperation, networking, and collaboration to deal with the exploration problems particularly in connection with the uncertainty of world oil price today.
